@work is currently seeking experienced welders to join our team in the city of Hemet. If you are a skilled welder looking for a new opportunity, we invite you to apply for our open positions.

Hours : Monday – Friday, 6am – 2:30pm

Location: Hemet

Responsibilities:

• Perform welding operations using various techniques such as MIG on vertical, horizontal, and overhead planes, both stationary and on a turntable
• Ability to perform TIG welding on at least one of the following planes: vertical, horizontal, and overhead (stationary).
• Competence in using an oxy-acetylene cutting torch.
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical drawings to determine welding specifications.
• Select and set up welding equipment, ensuring proper settings and safety measures.
• Prepare materials by cleaning, cutting, and shaping metal components.
• Weld components together, ensuring accuracy, strength, and quality of the weld.
• Inspect completed welds for defects and make necessary repairs or adjustments.
• Adhere to safety protocols and follow company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Must have Proven experience as a welder, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant welding experience.
• Conduct a 30-minute MIG welding test during the interview process, where the candidate is required to bring their own welding hood, gloves, and wear their safety personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Proficiency in MIG welding techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of welding safety practices and precautions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards.
• Physical strength and stamina to perform welding tasks in various positions and environments.
• Welding certification or relevant qualifications are preferred but not mandatory.
• Must be open to occasional overtime and Saturdays, OT is not guaranteed but is required when scheduled.
