Job Title: Production Coordinator

Department: MJF
Reports To: MJF Manager
Type of Position: Full-Time
Hours per Week: 40+
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour

Position Summary

The Production Coordinator manages work orders and ensures the efficient flow of projects through post-processing areas in a high-volume additive manufacturing environment. This role serves as the central point of communication between department leads, project managers, and production teams — ensuring all jobs are completed accurately, on time, and in compliance with quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily production ship list and communicate any geometry concerns, delays, or scheduling conflicts to the Project Management team.
  • Maintain an On-Time Delivery (OTD) rate of 95% or higher in alignment with departmental goals.
  • Accurately input and maintain production data within the QA database.
  • Communicate job status updates and delays to Project Technicians and the Project Management team.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce scrap, cut costs, and improve delivery performance.
  • Collaborate with Supervisors, Engineers, Project Technicians, and Shipping personnel to ensure smooth workflow between departments.
  • Perform tasks as outlined in the Job Sheet and ensure all documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Conduct visual inspections of parts and report any non-conformities or defects.
  • Document rejected parts and communicate issues through established reporting processes.
  • Ensure all jobs are routed to Quality Control and Shipping on schedule.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment.
  • Promote a positive and collaborative workplace culture.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, or additive manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to complete assignments independently with minimal supervision.
