Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Caterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and a strong background in culinary management. This role involves overseeing food preparation, ensuring high-quality service, and managing catering events from start to finish. The Caterer will work closely with clients to create memorable dining experiences while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee food preparation and presentation to maintain quality standards.
  • Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and tracking usage.
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
  • Collaborate with event planners to coordinate logistics for catering services.
  • Provide exceptional customer service during events, addressing any client concerns promptly.
  • Assist in budgeting and cost management for catering operations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and service areas.

Skills

  • Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and culinary experience.
  • Experience in quick service & fast food restaurants as well as fine dining establishments.
  • Knowledge of inventory control and food production processes.
  • Proven ability in staff training, development, and team management.
  • Experience in hospitality management with a focus on customer service excellence.
  • Familiarity with shift management, kitchen management, and restaurant operations.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise staff effectively.
  • Background in banquet experience, casual dining experience, or hotel catering is a plus.
