Job description:

Growing General Contractor in Escondido, CA, seeks a Project Manager to be responsible for the safe completion of the project within budget, on schedule, to the Company’s quality standards and to the customer’s satisfaction. In this role, you will be responsible for:

Primary Duties:

• Subcontractor management
• Daily coordination/communication with field team
• Pre-job planning and mobilization
• Subcontractor negotiations and billings
• Scheduling – developing and updating schedules and required reports.
• Preparing time impact analysis schedules to submit for time extension.
• Customer/Owner relations
• Develop cost estimates for change orders on projects
• Quality control review on projects
• Support of our safety plan and job specific safety plans
• Submittal reviews/confirm submittals submissions meet schedule requirements.
• Progress payments from owners
• Review/Approve billings from Subcontractors and Vendors
• Collaborating with team members
• Estimating as needed to support buy-outs and change order preparation
• Cost reports
• Project closeout

You will be required to have these skills:

• Must be computer literate
• Primavera P-6
• On-screen take-off
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Outlook
• Adobe Professional

You will also need this Education and Experience:

• BS degree in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management is required
• Knowledge of Construction Industry is required
• 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager or Project Engineer, working on Federal Projeccts
• Must have and maintain a current valid driver’s license and clean DMV record
• Obtain minimum vehicle insurance of 100/300/100 for personal vehicle
• Must be able to obtain Security clearance for Federal Projects
