Service Administrator
Location: Hemet, CA
Temp to Hire
Pay: $21–$22/hour (DOE)
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Overtime as needed)
Overview
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Service Administrator to join a dynamic team in Hemet. This temp-to-hire role offers an opportunity to support a busy service department by managing administrative processes, customer communication, and service coordination. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys multitasking, and has strong customer service and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to service-related inquiries via phone, email, and chat.
- Prepare quotes for field and bench service requests.
- Generate Return Authorizations (RAs) for U.S.-based customers using Oracle.
- Update and manage customer accounts and instrument data in Oracle.
- Handle billing inquiries and update work orders as needed.
- Process service orders for repairs, rentals, and loaner equipment.
- Renew and manage service contracts.
- Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and management.
- Adapt quickly to a fast-changing, deadline-driven environment.
- Prioritize tasks in a high-volume environment and identify practical solutions.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve shared goals while maintaining professionalism.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
- Experience with Oracle or other ERP systems is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
- A sense of urgency, accountability, and a positive attitude
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in Customer Service, call center, or service administration
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Indoor office/industrial environment with adequate lighting and ventilation
- Low to moderate noise levels
- Frequent standing, walking, sitting, and bending
- Regular use of hands for typing, data entry, and handling materials
- Occasional lifting of 26–50 lbs with assistance; ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
- Ability to work at a computer for extended periods and perform repetitive hand motions
