Job Title: Temporary Floral Production & Shipping Associate

Assignment Summary:

We’re seeking reliable support for a short-term floral production and shipping role running from May 5th through May 10th, working 8–10 hours per day. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, seasonal operation and help ensure timely order fulfillment during one of the busiest floral weeks of the year.

Key Assignment Details:

• Duration: May 5th–May 10th
• Schedule: 8–10 hours per day (may vary daily)
• Cold work environment – must be comfortable working in refrigerated conditions
• No time off will be approved during this assignment
• Must be available for overtime as needed

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare floral items and shipping materials for outbound shipment: packing, wrapping, boxing, labeling, and palletizing
• Work on production lines to pack floral bouquets into buckets and stage for shipping
• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment as needed
• Maintain accurate records of outgoing shipments
• Keep shipping and work areas clean and organized
• Collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy and timeliness of orders
• Follow safety guidelines to ensure a safe workplace
• Rotate into receiving duties as needed
• Punctuality and strong attendance are essential
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a fast-paced shipping or production environment
• Forklift and pallet jack experience is preferred
• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs, with frequent standing, walking, and reaching
• Ability to work independently and stay productive without close supervision
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
• Night shift
• Overnight shift
