Pay: $27.00 – $31.00 per hour
Job Summary:
This position monitors the quality of outgoing products, performing visual, dimensional, and functional inspections according to established specifications. The QC Technician ensures products meet both client and customer requirements. This role requires independent decision-making, accurate documentation, and minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions:
- Promote and maintain quality standards and culture throughout production and inspection processes.
- Read and interpret specifications to understand product requirements.
- Conduct inspections including visual, dimensional, functional, and overall conformance to specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Record inspection results according to quality standards and requirements.
- Report product rejections to relevant departments.
- Develop inspection plans as part of continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Provide technical support for problem identification, lead investigation/root cause analysis, and resolution of quality issues.
- Facilitate work activities related to internal defects and non-conformances, coordinating cross-functionally when necessary.
- Contribute to and support Quality KPI targets.
- Perform inspections using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, etc., and maintain proficiency with them.
- Perform other related duties and assignments as required.

- Assist with training needs of team members and provide on-the-job guidance.

Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s Degree preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of measuring, monitoring, and inspection experience; 3 years preferred.
Job Qualifications / Requirements:
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
- Must pass a drug test (including THC) and a background check (covering both felonies and misdemeanors).
- Employment history and education will be verified.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong mathematics orientation and good computer skills (Word, Excel, spreadsheets).
- Knowledge of assembly/mechanical processes, especially in testing applications.
- Experienced in using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, etc.
- Ability to read and understand instructions, specifications, blueprints, or sketches.
- Ability to work positively with others and maintain teamwork within cell areas.
- Regularly produce high-quality work and accept feedback constructively.
- Manage time effectively, adapt to changes, and maintain productivity levels.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to technical excellence.
