Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Manager to oversee and coordinate all maintenance activities within our cannabis facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of industrial maintenance, and expertise in managing complex systems such as HVAC, electrical, and mechanical equipment. This role requires a proactive approach to facilities management, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance across all operations. Must be available for emergencies outside of normal business hours.

Duties

• Lead and supervise the maintenance team to ensure timely and effective repair and upkeep of facility equipment and infrastructure.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Oversee the operation and troubleshooting of irrigation, lighting and plant feeding systems.
• Manage projects related to facilities upgrades, repairs, or installations, ensuring adherence to safety standards and project timelines.
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs such as HVAC systems or electrical work that is outside the scope of duty.
• Ideal experience would be in a city building, hospital, school, or cannabis facility
• Monitor facility operations to optimize energy efficiency, safety, and operational performance.
• Prepare reports on maintenance activities, system performance, and improvement initiatives for senior management.
