We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Project Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for certified payroll, payables, billings, DAS forms, joint checks, bank statements, training funds, and all other construction accounting tasks. This role requires a high attention to detail and is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to perform a diverse set of tasks. 

Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Payroll entry into 3rd party payroll systems – acquisition of timecards from field.
• Certified payroll (CPR) entry into online government system.
• Vendor certified payroll. 
• Generating check run reports and submitting them to COO for approval. 
• Generating, printing, and releasing checks.
• ACH payments. 
• Corrections for third-party compliance and supporting misc. Forms. 
• Employment/Insurance/Bonding requests.
• New employee onboarding.
• DAS 140/142 and DA142 forms.
• Entry of receivables and joint check management/deposits.
• Reconciliations. 
• Waivers.
• Daily mail management and dispersion.
• WIP construction cost accounting.
• OSHA Safety compliance.   
• Weekly report generation for executive team.
• Must have 5+ Years of construction accounting experience with a background in certified payroll.
• QuickBooks expert level.
• Microsoft office suite expert level experience.
• 100 word per minute or faster typing speed.
• Experience with prevailing wages and construction accountin.
