Description

Well known Manufacturing Company located in Hemet is looking for several Welders to join their team!

Hours : Monday – Friday, 6am – 2:30pm, with occasional overtime and Saturdays, OT is not guaranteed but is required when scheduled.

Salary: $20.00 - $21.50 per hour

  • MIG welding on vertical, horizontal and overhead planes, both stationery and turntable. TIG welding on at least one of vertical, horizontal, and overhead planes, stationary. Oxy-Acetylene cutting torch.
  • Welding Operations: Perform welding operations based on project requirements, including joining metal components by applying appropriate welding techniques such as MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), or Stick welding. Ensure adherence to welding codes, standards, and specifications.
  • Weld Quality Inspection: Inspect welds visually and using specialized tools to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Identify and repair any defects or inconsistencies in the welds.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance and calibration on welding equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others. Properly handle and store hazardous materials.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 Years experience required
  • Welding Skills: Proficient in various welding techniques, such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding. Ability to work with different metals and alloys.
  • Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
  • Knowledge of Welding Codes and Standards

Duties:

- Perform welding operations using various techniques and equipment

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements

- Set up and operate welding machines and tools

- Inspect welds for quality and accuracy

- Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to ensure precise weld dimensions

- Collect and record data related to welding processes and quality control.
