CNC Machinist I / CNC Machine Operator

Hemet, CA
$20.00 – $22.00 per hour
Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (OT & occasional Saturdays)

We are hiring a CNC Machinist I with at least 1 year of hands-on machining experience to join our production team in Hemet. This is an excellent opportunity for a machinist who has foundational experience and is ready to grow within a fast-paced, quality-driven manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do

• Set up and operate CNC and/or conventional machining equipment to produce metal components to specification
• Perform multiple setups and machine operations daily (production & prototype work)
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions
• Adjust tooling, speeds, and feeds to maintain quality and efficiency
• Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify tolerances
• Perform in-process inspections to ensure all work meets quality standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Support continuous improvement initiatives (5S, lean practices)
• Operate powered industrial equipment (forklift) as needed

Qualifications

• Experience: 1+ years operating manual lathes or mills
• Education: High School Diploma or GEDrequired
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Working knowledge of machining fundamentals (speeds, feeds, tooling)
• Must pass a background check and drug test
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety

Preferred Qualifications

• Vocational or technical training in machining
• Experience in a production manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle experience a plus)
• Forklift certification
