Job description:
We are seeking a charismatic, motivated, and highly organized Business Development Manager to join our growing team. This individual will play a key role in building and maintaining strong client relationships, expanding business opportunities, and representing the company within the community and industry events.
The ideal candidate is outgoing, professional, detail-oriented, and enjoys networking, attending events, and building long-term partnerships. A background in construction is a plus, but not required. This position reports directly to the VP of Business Development.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and industry partners
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to support company growth
- Represent the company at networking events, industry functions, golf tournaments, and community events
- Assist in developing business development strategies and outreach initiatives
- Coordinate meetings, presentations, and follow-up communications with prospective clients
- Maintain accurate records of business development activities and client interactions
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and project support
- Manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail and organization
- Support the VP of Business Development with special projects and initiatives as needed
Qualifications
- Charismatic, professional, and confident communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Self-motivated with the ability to stay focused and manage time effectively
- Enjoys networking, relationship-building, and attending events
- Must enjoy golf outings and participating in community/business functions
- Construction industry experience is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general business communication tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
