Job Title: Maintenance & Repair Technician

Location: Hemet, CA

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM

Pay Range: $20–$22/hour

Job Type: Temp-to-Hire

Summary:

We are seeking a reliable Maintenance & Repair Technician to perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks across plumbing, carpentry, electrical, painting, and general facilities upkeep. This is a hands-on, full-time, temp-to-hire position working under general supervision in an industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts and scissor lifts
• Perform repairs and installations related to plumbing, electrical, and building maintenance
• Handle basic HVAC and drainage system fixes
• Maintain company grounds and ensure cleanliness of work areas
• Support waste management compliance and safety protocols
• Assist with installation of electrical components and use of testing tools
• Communicate effectively and support team efforts

Qualifications:

• 1–3 years of general maintenance experience
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and structural repair
• Ability to read schematics and follow written instructions
• Forklift/scissor lift operation experience a plus
• Certified Electrician preferred for advanced roles

Skills:

• Self-starter with a sense of urgency
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Additional Requirements:

• Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
• Must complete academic and employment verification as part of the hiring process

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
