Local Construction company is looking for a Concrete Superintendent. This person will report to the Field Operations Manager. This is a great company with a great environment.

Job Responsibilities:

· Crew Management and Leadership:

· Manage and lead a crew of 5-10 construction workers, providing clear direction, guidance, and support with a safety-first mentality.

· Assign tasks, delegate responsibilities, and ensure that work is completed efficiently and within established timelines.

· Train and mentor crew members, promoting skill development and maintaining a high level of workmanship.

· Foster a positive work environment, encouraging teamwork, collaboration, and open communication among the crew.

· OSHA 30 Certified

· Minimum Journeyman level masonry experience

· Project Execution and Coordination

· Coordinate with the General Manager, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of concrete projects.

· Interpret project plans, specifications, and blueprints to guide crew members in their work.

· Oversee and participate in concrete placement, finishing, and related activities, ensuring adherence to quality standards.

· Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective measures as necessary to maintain project timelines.

· Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all crew members.

· Conduct daily safety briefings, inspect work areas for potential hazards, and address any safety concerns promptly.

· Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies. d. Submit safety paperwork in on time with all compliance signatures

· Equipment and Materials Management: a. Coordinate equipment and material requirements for each project, ensuring availability and proper utilization.

· Conduct regular inspections of equipment and tools, reporting any maintenance or repair needs.

· Manage inventory levels and request materials as needed to maintain project continuity. d. Documentation and Reporting

· Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including crew attendance, work performed, and materials used.

· Prepare progress reports, time sheets, and other documentation as required by the General Manager or project managers.

· Smart/Humble through the demonstration of your skill in a confident manner.

· Unstoppable in working the hours it takes to ensure successful project completion.

· A team player by working well with other client managers and ensuring the organization’s success and your own personal goals.
