POSITION SUMMARY:

The Payroll Clerk works under the supervision of the Payroll Manager and is responsible for assisting in performing clerical payroll projects, processing requests, time card review and verifications as they relate to payroll.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Knowledge of relevant software programs related to the processing of payroll
  • Assist in filing and organizing of payroll documentation and related
  • Review and auditing of time-keeping data with payroll input
  • Assist in the maintenance of files/binders containing payroll reports, quarterly contribution reports, and annual reports

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Education & Certifications:

● High School Graduate or GED

Experience:

· 1-2 years Clerical and Payroll- related experience

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent skills using MS Office, Google Docs and Sheets, Timekeeping and Payroll software; PAYCOM is a big plus
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion
  • General math skills
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent data entry skills
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Effective verbal, listening and written communication skills
  • Effective organizational, stress and time management skills
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently or as a team member
  • Strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
