Position Summary:

The Manufacturing Lead oversees daily production operations, ensuring tasks are prioritized, staff are properly trained, and products meet quality standards and delivery deadlines. This role communicates across departments, resolves issues, and supports continuous improvement efforts.

Pay Range: $24.00 – $26.00/hour

Location: Hemet, CA 92545

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (OT as needed)

PPE Requirement: Safety-toe shoes/boots with metatarsal guards (ASTM F2413 M I/75 C/75 Mt75).

Key Responsibilities:

• Assign and monitor tasks to meet production schedules.
• Train staff and ensure compliance with safety and quality procedures.
• Operate forklift for material handling.
• Maintain accurate training records and inventory cycle counts.
• Communicate team performance and production status.
• Support 5S and VES initiatives; keep work area clean and safe.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 5+ years in manufacturing; lead/supervisory experience preferred.
• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Skills:
• Ability to read blueprints, BOMs, and work orders.
• Basic understanding of production scheduling.
• Forklift certification or willingness to train.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Additional Requirements:

• Must pass a background check.
• Must pass a drug test.
• Employment verification will be conducted.
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

• Industrial setting with indoor/outdoor exposure and varying noise levels.
