We are seeking a highly organized and customer-oriented Appointment Setter to join our legal document office. The ideal candidate will have experience managing heavy phone traffic, setting appointments, and providing exceptional customer service. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, along with strong proofreading skills, are essential. The candidate should be adept at taking direction, and converting customer inquiries into scheduled telephone appointments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Phone Management: Handle a high volume of incoming and outgoing calls efficiently and professionally.
  • Appointment Setting: Schedule appointments accurately; during the telephone call ask probing questions to get information on how to proceed on scheduling a telephone appointment.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Document Handling: Proofread legal documents for accuracy and distribute incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Administrative Support: Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel for various office tasks, including data entry and document preparation.
  • Direction and Coordination: Follow instructions from supervisors and convert questions and inquiries into scheduled telephone appointments.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Previous experience in a receptionist or appointment setter role, preferably in a legal or office environment.
  • Skills:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong proofreading skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle a high volume of phone calls.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Customer Service: Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service.
  • Adaptability: Able to take direction well and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to convert questions and inquiries into actionable appointments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $21.50 per hour
