Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support within a clinical setting, ensuring smooth operations and excellent patient service. This role involves managing patients, treatment plans, and follow up care. Our team is dedicated to creating a professional enviornment where both patients and staff feel valued and respected.
Responsibilities
- Support clinical staff by preparing patients for exams and proceedures.
- Reviewing charts, patient symptoms, medical history, reviewing care plans, and other pertinent information.
- Handle administrative duties including filing, data entry (10 key typing), faxing, scanning, and managing medical records efficiently.
- Handle patient phone calls promptly and professionally, addressing questions and concerns.
- Working with the doctors and involving them in patient care.
- Assist with office management tasks such as inventory management of supplies, maintaining filing systems, and supporting clinic operations.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all privacy and HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
