Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support within a clinical setting, ensuring smooth operations and excellent patient service. This role involves managing patients, treatment plans, and follow up care. Our team is dedicated to creating a professional enviornment where both patients and staff feel valued and respected.

Responsibilities

  • Support clinical staff by preparing patients for exams and proceedures.
  • Reviewing charts, patient symptoms, medical history, reviewing care plans, and other pertinent information.
  • Handle administrative duties including filing, data entry (10 key typing), faxing, scanning, and managing medical records efficiently.
  • Handle patient phone calls promptly and professionally, addressing questions and concerns.
  • Working with the doctors and involving them in patient care.
  • Assist with office management tasks such as inventory management of supplies, maintaining filing systems, and supporting clinic operations.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all privacy and HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
  • Minimum of [insert number] years of experience in a clinical or medical office setting preferred.
  • Proficient in taking vital signs, documenting in electronic medical records (EMR), and performing basic clinical tasks.
