Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Pool Technician to join our team. This role involves maintaining and servicing residential and commercial swimming pools to ensure they are safe, clean, and functioning properly. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience with equipment repair, and a passion for providing excellent pool maintenance services. This position is temporary but could be temp-to-hire for the best candidate!

Duties

• Perform routine pool maintenance including cleaning, chemical balancing, and water testing to ensure optimal water quality.
• Inspect and troubleshoot pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators; perform repairs or replacements as needed.
• Use hand tools and power tools to repair or replace pool components efficiently.
• Conduct regular inspections of pool systems to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
• Maintain detailed records of service visits, repairs performed, and parts used.
• Ensure all work areas are clean and organized following safety standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding maintenance needs and recommendations.

Experience

• Prior experience as a service technician or in pool maintenance is highly preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to pool equipment repair and troubleshooting.
• Experience with pool cleaning, chemical balancing, and water testing procedures.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance equipment.
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to working with electrical equipment and chemicals in aquatic environments.
