Job description:

We are seeking an experienced Machine Mechanic with a strong background in liquid filling machinery, specifically piston fillers. This role is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and optimization of production equipment to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality operations.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of liquid filling machines, including piston fillers

•Diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues and implement timely repairs

•Set up, adjust, and change over filling equipment for different products and production runs

•Ensure machines are operating efficiently and within quality and safety standards

•Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life

•Work closely with production and quality teams to resolve equipment-related issues

•Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation

•Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment as needed

•Follow all safety, GMP, and company policies and procedures

Qualifications

•Proven experience as a Machine Mechanic in a manufacturing or packaging environment

•Hands-on experience with liquid filling machines and piston fillers (required)

•Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems

•Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams

•Experience with troubleshooting and root cause analysis

•Basic electrical knowledge is a plus

•Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

•Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements

•Ability to stand for extended periods

•Ability to lift up to 15 pounds

•Ability to work in a production/manufacturing environment
