Job Title: Quality Control (QC) Inspector
Department: Quality Control
Reports To: QC Manager
Position Type: Full-Time
Hours per Week: 40+
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 3PM-11:30PM
Position Summary:
The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for maintaining quality standards by performing inspections on incoming, in-process, and finished products. This role also involves recording inspection results and communicating findings across departments to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections of finished products across multiple technologies
- Use hand measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, height gauges) to verify part specifications
- Interpret engineering drawings for both dimensional and visual requirements
- Generate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for any discrepant materials
- Apply knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to inspection processes
- Document inspection results using internal QA systems, including FAIRs, AS9102, and NCR documentation
- Provide inspection feedback to relevant departments and QC leadership
- Follow all procedures for proper use and maintenance of measurement tools

Education & Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; or two years of relevant experience in quality control or manufacturing
- Experience with inspection tools is required
- Familiarity with CMM or articulating arm is a plus
- Understanding of ISO 9001:2015 or similar quality standards is a plus
- Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and Windows navigation
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Capable of following detailed instructions and procedures
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
