About the Role

We’re looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Blaster/Coater to join our manufacturing team in Hemet, CA. In this hands-on role, you’ll prepare metal surfaces for coating, operate blasting equipment, and apply high-quality coatings to meet production, safety, and quality standards.

You’ll play a key role in maintaining the finish and durability of our products — ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on, detail-driven work in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate abrasive blasting equipment to clean and prepare metal parts for coating or painting.
• Apply primers, paints, and protective coatings using spray guns and other tools according to specifications.
• Mask and inspect surfaces to ensure proper coating coverage and thickness.
• Maintain and clean blasting and coating equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
• Follow all safety and environmental regulations, including proper use of PPE and handling of materials.
• Record production data and collaborate with quality and production teams to meet daily goals.

What You’ll Need

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• 1+ year of experience in paint coating (required)
• 1+ year of experience in sandblasting (required)
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment (standing, lifting, bending)
• Familiarity with industrial painting and coating practices (preferred)
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and safety-minded
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
• Required PPE
• All team members must wear safety-toe shoes/boots with metatarsal guards that meet ASTM F2413 M I/75 C/75 Mt75 standards.
