Job Title: Filing Assistant – Human Resources Department
Location: Carlsbad, CA
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Position Overview:
The Filing Assistant will provide administrative support to the Human Resources department, focusing on maintaining accurate and well-organized employee records. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to handle confidential documentation with discretion.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize, label, and file personnel documents in both physical and electronic filing systems.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential employee documentation with the utmost discretion.
  • Maintain compliance with HR recordkeeping and retention policies.
  • Assist with scanning, data entry, and file audits to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Support HR staff with general clerical duties including photocopying, document preparation, and archiving.
  • Retrieve and refile records as requested by HR personnel.
  • Perform additional administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Previous administrative or clerical experience preferred; HR experience a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage confidential information responsibly.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with document management systems.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
