The Administrative Technician is responsible for delivering comprehensive clerical and administrative support, handling various tasks such as data entry, document preparation, scheduling, and office assistance.

Pay Rate: : $22.00 - $24.00/ per hour (depending on experience)

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm


Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • Preferred background in engineering or public construction, with expertise in handling public inquiries related to civil engineering.
  • Ability to provide technical assistance to engineers and technicians on administrative matters.
  • Proficiency in maintaining and managing technical databases and organized technical files and records.
  • Skill in organizing and scheduling administrative meetings with technical personnel.
  • Providing administrative support to customers regarding technical matters.
  • Effective troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical problems faced by customers.
  • Support and assist the administrative department in providing strategic direction to technical personnel.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Prior experience as an Admin Assistant with strong skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, typing, composing correspondence, excellent phone etiquette, and exceptional written and verbal communication. Professional attire is required.

Responsibilities:

  • File and maintain documents and records.
  • Proofread and edit documents for accuracy and clarity.
  • Assist with event planning and coordination.
  • Perform general clerical duties, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and scheduling appointments.
  • Transcribe meeting minutes and other important information.
  • Provide administrative support to medical office staff.
  • Coordinate projects and ensure adherence to deadlines.
  • Deliver outstanding customer support.

Experience:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
