Job description:

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Licensed Insurance Agent with a valid Property & Casualty license and proven experience working in an insurance agency environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing personalized service, building client relationships, and managing policy needs within an agency setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with selecting, modifying, and renewing Property & Casualty insurance policies.
• Provide outstanding customer service by handling inquiries, policy changes, claims assistance, and coverage explanations.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure retention and referrals.
• Collaborate with agency staff to support daily operations and meet sales and service goals.
• Accurately process applications, endorsements, cancellations, and renewals.
• Stay current on state regulations, underwriting guidelines, and industry best practices.
• Proactively identify client needs and recommend additional products when appropriate.

Qualifications:

• Active Property & Casualty Insurance License (required).
• Previous experience working in an insurance agency (not brokerage).
• Strong knowledge of insurance products, coverages, and agency workflows.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in agency management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Bilingual abilities (English/Spanish) a plus.
• Prior experience with cross-selling or upselling insurance products.
