Job description:

Stable Manufacturing facility in Menifee is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team!

Duties Assigned to the Position:

1. Manage Vendor Invoice processing and payments

2. Direct and manage invoices in AP module for processing and follow up on payment inquiries

3. Review and reconcile Business Card statements, and process Credit Card Expense for accuracy and completeness in ERP or Concur;

4. Input accounting data into the accounting system with speed and accuracy

5. Manage and reconcile accounts payable balances.

6. Maintain W9 forms and verify if all vendors W9's are on file.

7. Maintain and reconcile the General Ledger subsidiary journals related to accounts payable, prepayments, Use taxes, and cash disbursements, ensuring accuracy.

8. Process weekly Check Run.

9. Support day-to-day operations relating to Banking activities and fund transfers.

10. Support electronic payment processing of domestic and international transactions, including ACH and wire transactions.

11. Maintain accounting files including but not limited to accounting, audit, tax, and regulatory documents.

12. Other duties as assigned.

Basic Job Requirements:

Education:

Two-year Associate or four-year bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, and/or Business Administration

Experience:

Experience in accounts payable or accounting.

Other Skills:

· Experience with ERP Preferred.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Excel and Word required

· Experience with Concur Preferred

· Ability to manage high volume workload in fast-paced, deadline driven environment

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Must be detail-oriented, well-organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

· Able to exercise effective judgment, sensitivity, creativity to changing needs and situations.

· Demonstrated experience for working with employees/members in dealing with confidential issues

· Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
