CNC Machine Shop Lead Inspector
Location: Temecula, CA
Pay: $28.00 – $33.00 per hour (DOE)

We are seeking an experienced Lead Inspector to join our CNC machine shop. This role is critical in ensuring the highest level of accuracy and quality across all machined parts. The ideal candidate will bring strong inspection expertise, CMM programming experience, and proven leadership skills to guide and support our inspection team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections using precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and height gauges
• Program and operate CMM equipment to execute detailed inspections
• Utilize Verisurf software to develop and refine inspection routines
• Review blueprints and engineering drawings to confirm part requirements
• Record, track, and report inspection results, including nonconformance issues
• Mentor and train junior inspectors to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Collaborate with machinists and engineers to resolve quality issues and support process improvements

Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience as a quality inspector in a CNC machining environment
• Proficiency with both manual and digital measuring instruments
• Strong background in CMM operation and programming
• Familiarity with Verisurf software (highly desirable)
• Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings accurately
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Proven leadership abilities with excellent communication and team development skills

Compensation & Schedule:

• Pay Range: $28 – $33 per hour, based on experience
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, weekday schedule
