Overview
The Public Area Attendant plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of public spaces within our facility. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who takes pride in creating a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. The ideal candidate will possess strong custodial skills and a commitment to upholding high standards of cleanliness.

Duties

• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of public areas, including lobbies, restrooms, hallways, and other common spaces.
• Utilize appropriate cleaning techniques and products to ensure surfaces are clean and well-maintained.
• Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, mopping, and vacuuming to maintain the appearance of flooring.
• Assist with light maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs or touch-ups in public areas.
• Monitor and restock supplies in public restrooms and common areas to ensure availability for guests.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
• Uphold company standards for cleanliness and sanitation while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in custodial services, commercial cleaning, or facilities maintenance is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment and supplies, including floor care machinery.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards guest service.
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Experience in residential painting or industrial cleaning is a plus but not required.
