Temporary Maintenance Worker (Parks & Community Services)
Pay: $20.00/hour
Duration: 3–6 Month Contract assignment with opportunity to go full time/permanent
Schedule Options:

• Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
• Tuesday – Saturday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (must be available to work weekends)

Driving Required: Yes (no more than 1 point on DMV)

Position Overview

We are seeking two reliable and hardworking Temporary Maintenance Workers to support Parks and Community Services operations. This is a great opportunity for individuals with landscaping or grounds maintenance experience who enjoy working outdoors and contributing to the community.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform landscape and grounds maintenance
• Maintain and repair irrigation systems
• Operate landscaping equipment including:
• Push mowers
• Ride-on mowers
• Blowers
• String trimmers
• Hedge trimmers
• Support general park and facility upkeep
• Drive to various work sites as needed

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive for work purposes
• Experience in landscape maintenance
• Experience with irrigation maintenance and repair
• Ability to safely operate landscaping equipment
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working for a government agency or school district (preferred but not required)
