Quality Inspector (Aerospace – AS9100)

  • $20–$25/hr DOE
  • Aerospace Manufacturing Environment
  • Full-Time | 4x10 Schedule (Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM)

Are you detail-driven and experienced in aerospace quality inspection? Ready to play a critical role in ensuring precision and compliance in an AS9100 environment?

We’re hiring a Quality Inspector to primarily perform in-process inspections, with cross-training into Receiving and Final Inspection over time.

We’re not rushing the hire — we’re focused on finding the right professional who takes pride in their work and understands aerospace standards.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform in-process inspections per Quality Procedures
  • Verify compliance with drawings, routers, POs, and specifications
  • Inspect mechanical and electrical/electromechanical parts
  • Review supplier certifications, inspection and test reports
  • Cross-train in receiving and final inspections
  • Complete First Article Inspections and documentation
  • Maintain quality records and inspection logs
  • Sign C of C shipments as Quality representative

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in AS9100 aerospace quality inspection
  • Strong blueprint and technical drawing interpretation skills
  • Proficiency with inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, microscopes, linear scales)
  • Knowledge of soldering, crimping, braiding, potting, conformal coating
  • Familiarity with military and commercial electronic specifications
  • Computer proficiency (MS Office; MRP experience preferred)
  • Strong documentation and attention to detail

Highly Preferred:

  • IPC-610 and/or J-STD certification (current or previous)
  • NADCAP knowledge
  • 2-year technical degree or equivalent hands-on aerospace experience

Work Environment

  • Combination of standing and desk work
  • Use of inspection equipment and hand tools
  • Moderate noise level
  • Visual acuity required
