Job Title: MJF Program Expeditor
Department: MJF
Reports To: MJF Manager
Type of Position: Full-Time
Hours Per Week: 40+

Position Summary:

The MJF Program Expeditor manages work orders for specific programs and ensures the efficient flow of work through post-processing areas. This position acts as the primary liaison between department leads, expeditors, and program managers, overseeing scheduling, identifying issues, supporting root cause/corrective actions, and handling RMAs. The Expeditor will be fully responsible for the timely and accurate processing of all work orders within their assigned program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily production ship list and notify the Project Management team of any geometry concerns, delays, or scheduling conflicts.
  • Maintain On-Time Delivery (OTD) rate of 95% or higher in alignment with department metrics.
  • Input data into the QA database accurately and consistently.
  • Communicate job delays to Project Technicians and support the Project Management team as needed.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce scrap, cut costs, and improve delivery performance.
  • Collaborate with Supervisors, Engineers, Project Technicians, and the Shipping Department to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Perform tasks as outlined in the Job Sheet.
  • Conduct visual inspections of parts and flag any defects or nonconformities.
  • Reject non-compliant parts and document issues via appendix creation.
  • Ensure all jobs are routed to QC and Shipping on time.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Promote a positive and collaborative workplace culture.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
