We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Certified Paralegal with Trust, Estate Planning and Family Law experience to join our team.

Job Overview: The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in electronic document preparation and management, with a strong understanding of legal procedures and terminology. Experience using specific legal document applications and familiarity with Trusts and Estates documentation is highly desirable. This role offers the opportunity to contribute your expertise helping our clients achieve their legal goals efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document Preparation: Prepare, draft, and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, wills, trusts, and other legal forms, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
  • Electronic Document Management: Organize, manage, and file legal documents electronically using our document management systems, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and easily accessible.
  • Client Support: Assist clients with understanding and completing legal documents, providing guidance and support to ensure all forms are properly filled out and compliant with legal requirements.
  • Research: Conduct legal research to ensure all documents are current with legal standards and regulations.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support related to document preparation, including scheduling, tracking project timelines, and maintaining client communication.

Qualifications:

  • Certification: Must be a Certified Paralegal (CP) with a recognized certification from an accredited institution.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal, with specific experience in electronic document preparation and management.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in legal document management software and electronic filing systems (e-filing).
  • Required Experience: Must have experience using one of the following document applications: CLIO, Westlaw, LexisNexis, Law Depot, Rocket Lawyer, or Fore Trust.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of legal terminology, document formats, and legal procedures.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to clients.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
