Job description:
I. Summary of Position:
This position will monitor the quality of outgoing products, including visual, dimensional and functional inspection according to established specifications. The QC Technician shall ensure that the products inspected conform to clients and its Customer’s expectations, specifications and requirements. This individual shall have a strong working knowledge and understanding of inspection processes, capable of making decisions, and accurately document / report data accordingly. The position requires the ability to work under minimal supervision.
II. Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions:
· Promotes and maintains quality standards and culture throughout the production and inspection processes.
· Reading and interpreting specifications to understand requirements of products.
· Performs a variety of product inspections including but not limited to visual, dimensional, functional, and overall conformance to specifications and regulatory requirements.
· Records inspection results according to established quality standards and requirements.
· Reports and notifies relevant departments of product rejections.
· Develop product inspection plans as part of continuous process improvement.
· Provide technical support on problem identification, lead investigation activities / root cause analysis, and overall resolution of internal customers and Quality issues.
· Completes assignments and facilitates work activities related to internal defects and non-conformances, which may require cross-functional coordination.
· Contributes and supports Quality KPI targets.
· Perform other related duties and assignments as required.

I. Education and Experience:
· Experience: Minimum 1 year measuring, monitoring, and inspection working experience; 3 years preferred.
· Education: High School Diploma or GED; Associates Degree preferred.
II. Skills and Competencies:
· Job Skills: Excellent mathematics orientation & good computer knowledge with spreadsheets.
· Specific: Good knowledge of assembly/mechanical abilities, specifically in testing applications.
· Administrative: Ability to read and understand written instructions, specifications, blueprints or sketches.
· Ability to work in a positive manner with other associates within cell areas.
· Quality of Work: Regularly produces quality work and welcomes productive feedback to improve performance.
· Results Achieved: Maintain productivity levels that meet/exceed expectations.
· Technical Excellence: Obtain maximum benefit of tools and resources available to position.
