Job Title: Inventory Clerk
Location: Carlsbad, CA (On-site)
Job Type: Full-Time (Temporary)
Pay Range: $20.00–$23.00 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, Day Shift (8-hour shift)
Expected Hours: 40 per week

About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team in Carlsbad, CA. The Inventory Clerk will perform essential inventory management tasks to maintain accurate stock levels, process shipments, and support warehouse operations. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled and accurate inventory cycle counts
• Reorder inventory as needed to maintain optimal stock levels
• Maintain organized storage areas following 5S practices
• Identify and report inventory discrepancies
• Process incoming and outgoing shipments (UPS, FedEx, etc.)
• Package various parts for customer delivery
• Complete receiving tasks across multiple locations
• Manage inventory material across various locations
• Support ad-hoc inventory assignments as needed

Excel Skills Required:

• Proficiency in Excel reporting, including importing/exporting data
• More than just data entry—comfortable building and modifying reports
• Strong knowledge of VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and Conditional Formatting

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or vocational degree required; some college preferred
• 1+ year of experience in inventory control or warehouse operations
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Advanced Excel skills strongly preferred
• Familiarity with 5S organizational practices
• Ability to lift and handle materials as needed
• Experience in large-scale manufacturing environments is a plus
