We are seeking experienced, professional baristas (preferably with 5+ years of experience) who truly understand both the craft and pace of specialty coffee service. Our ideal candidate is confident behind the bar, deeply knowledgeable about coffee, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a clean, organized, and professional appearance.

This role requires someone who values consistency, precision, and hospitality—someone who takes pride in every cup served and contributes positively to the team and overall guest experience.

Key Skills & Knowledge:

  • Espresso Fundamentals: Strong understanding of espresso preparation, including extraction time, grind adjustment, and dose consistency.

  • Milk Texturing: Ability to achieve correct texture and temperature for various drinks—microfoam for lattes, silky milk for flat whites, and minimal foam for cortados.

  • Drink Structure & Composition:

    • Espresso / Double Espresso – proper yield, balance, and crema.

    • Flat White – smooth microfoam with a thinner milk layer than a latte.

    • Cortado – equal parts espresso and steamed milk, velvety without excess foam.

    • Latte / Cappuccino – correct ratios, milk texture, and pour presentation.

  • Coffee Knowledge: Understanding of coffee origins, bean varieties, and roast profiles and how they influence flavor.

  • Troubleshooting: Ability to quickly identify and address grinder, steam wand, or pressure issues.

  • Speed & Efficiency: Maintain consistency and quality during high-volume service.

  • Cleanliness & Organization: Keep the workspace spotless, clean steam wands regularly, and follow all health and safety standards.

  • Customer Service: Professional, personable, and confident when interacting with guests.

  • Teamwork: Strong communication skills and a positive attitude under pressure.


Bonus Qualities:

  • Latte art skills.

  • Knowledge of various brewing methods (pour-over, cold brew, etc.).

  • Experience operating both automatic and semi-automatic espresso machines.
