We are seeking a qualified Community Development / Housing Specialist for a temporary full-time assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional with a background in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) programs and Housing initiatives.

Location: Perris, CA

Hours: Full-Time (40 hours/week)

Assignment Length: 3 months (with possible extension)

Salary Range: $50,000–$60,000

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply knowledge of CDBG program eligibility, application processes, and types of funded programs
• Assist in planning, implementation, and compliance of federal housing and development programs
• Support department staff in preparing program materials, reviewing applications, and providing technical assistance
• Ensure program alignment with federal regulations and community needs

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Urban Planning, Housing, or a related field
• Experience working with Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) programs and/or housing initiatives
• Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be able to pass a background check and academic verification

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
