Family Law Paralegal (On-Site)
Location: Temecula, CA
Job Type: Temp to Hire Contract
Pay Rate: $30–$32 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Join a respected Temecula-based law firm composed of four experienced attorneys and two full-time paralegals, dedicated exclusively to providing exceptional service in family law. We are currently seeking a Paralegal to assist during an employee’s leave. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys fast-paced legal work and values a supportive team environment.

Job Overview:

We’re looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal with 2–5 years of experience in family law. The ideal candidate must have a flexible, team-oriented attitude, regardless of experience level, and be able to work on-site in our Temecula office. This role involves supporting attorneys with all aspects of family law cases—from legal research and document drafting to trial prep and client communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct legal research to support case strategy and filings.
  • Draft, edit, and proofread legal documents including pleadings, declarations, and correspondence.
  • Organize and manage case files, maintain records, and track important deadlines.
  • Handle accurate data entry and transcribe legal documents.
  • Communicate with clients professionally via phone and email to provide case updates and gather necessary information.
  • File legal documents with courts and agencies.
  • Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings, depositions, and trials.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 2–5 years of family law paralegal experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies or related field preferred
  • Paralegal certification from an accredited program is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of family law procedures and court documentation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient with legal research tools, case management software, and Microsoft Office
  • Highly detail-oriented with excellent proofreading skills
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment
  • Professional phone etiquette and client communication skills
  • Must have a flexible, positive attitude and team-first mindset
