Job description:
Municipality in Perris is looking for someone to assist in their Risk Management department. M-F 9am-6pm. Long term contract role to start, with possibility of permanent hire.
Job Duties:
- Processes and assists in the City’s General liability claims by routing and filing claims to the City's insurance carrier.
- Process subrogation claims for the City.
- Review and process Certificates of Insurance (COI)
- File and record incident reports from City staff and process loss notification claim process with the City’s insurance TPA (Third Party Administrator
- Assist Human Resources & Risk Manager with other complex risk-related assignments.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience Required:
Previous experience with Certificates of Insurance and General Liability claims.
Reviewing detailed paperwork, such as contracts, policies, etc.
Ability to draft professional correspondence
Intermediate skills is MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook
Education
Bachelor’s in business administration, human resources, public administration, or related field.
