Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Receiving Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming shipments, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, and maintaining inventory levels. This role requires proficiency in using various tools and systems to facilitate the shipping and receiving process effectively.

Duties

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and update stock levels in the AS400 system.
• Operate pallet jacks and reach trucks to move products safely within the warehouse.
• Assist in order fulfillment by picking packages according to customer specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize shipping and receiving processes.
• Perform basic math calculations to verify quantities and ensure accurate inventory records.

Experience

• Previous experience in shipping and receiving or warehouse operations is preferred.
• Familiarity with order fulfillment processes and inventory management systems.
• Proficient in using RF scanners, pallet jacks, and reach trucks.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
• Basic math skills are essential for verifying shipments and inventory counts.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of safety.
