Job description:

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM - With occasional overtime and Saturdays. (Overtime is not guaranteed but is required when scheduled.)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler/Forklift Operator to support manufacturing operations at a facility in Hemet. This position plays a key role in ensuring smooth production by delivering materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, and assisting with various warehouse and manufacturing activities. The ideal candidate has warehouse experience, a strong work ethic, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Stock, examine, and distribute materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.
• Pull and verify materials and supplies listed on production orders.
• Maintain accurate inventory by labeling, recording locations, and reporting shortages.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to transport materials.
• Prepare kitting packages for assembly production.
• Keep inventory areas, loading zones, and equipment clean and organized.
• Open, sort, and catalog materials as needed.
• Provide support to other departments (maintenance, assembly, shipping, etc.) as qualified.
• Collaborate with purchasing, receiving, and production teams to meet material needs.
• Assist in preparing and staging finished products for shipment.

Requirements:

• 3 years of experience in receiving, materials handling, or warehouse operations (preferred)
• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• Must pass a background check
• Must pass a drug test
• Employment verification will be conducted
• Basic computer skills; Microsoft Word and Excel a plus
• Ability to read and understand work orders, labels, and safety documentation
• Forklift experience
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Commitment to safety and continuous improvement
