Responsibilities: 

• Submits patient claims to insurance carriers, following filing procedures for each carrier 

• Enters billing charges 

• Prescription approvals 

• Posting Insurance and Patient payments 

• Contacts insurance for same and similar products 

Must haves: 

• Must be able to work overtime at a moment’s notice 

• Type 35+ WPM 

• Must be able to work in a fast pace environment 

• Computer literate 

Job Type: Full-time 
Billing Specialist: $14-$15/hr
