  • Use small hand tools, power tools, and production equipment safely and effectively
  • Work regularly with microscopes (up to 10x) for detailed assembly and soldering tasks
  • Accurately document work, inspections, and labor tracking using a PC-based system
  • Participate in internal training, certifications, and quality initiatives as required
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and ESD-compliant work area
  • Support continuous improvement and other duties as assigned by manufacturing leadership

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical instructions
  • Comfortable using a computer to access drawings, work instructions, and track hours
  • Basic math skills related to measurements and tolerances
  • Previous ESD training or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire

Preferred Experience (Not Required)

  • Soldering experience using fine-gauge wires under magnification
  • Prior solder certification or demonstrated soldering proficiency
  • In-process inspection or quality inspection experience
  • Aerospace manufacturing or experience in a highly regulated industry (medical, defense, electronics, etc.)

Skills & Competencies

  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Strong manual and finger dexterity for small, precise components
  • Ability to work independently while communicating effectively with a team
  • Dependable, reliable, and accountable
  • Emotionally intelligent, receptive to feedback, and able to resolve issues professionally
  • Positive contributor to company culture with a cooperative mindset
  • Strong listening and oral comprehension skills

Physical & Sensory Requirements

  • Near vision required for detailed work; visual acuity testing conducted annually
  • Ability to use hands steadily and precisely for extended periods
  • Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods
