Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Electromechanical Assembler to support the build of high-quality, complex products in a non-line, start-to-finish manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, thrives in regulated industries, and values quality over speed.
As a Electromechanical Assembler , you will follow detailed engineering drawings, travelers, and work instructions to assemble products that meet strict quality, safety, and performance standards. You will work independently while remaining closely connected to a collaborative manufacturing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble complex, small-scale production assemblies using detailed written and verbal instructions
- Build assemblies from start to finish (not line assembly)
- Read and follow engineering drawings, routers, travelers, and work instructions with required sign-offs and inspections
- Perform precision assembly to meet specified measurements, weights, and tolerances
- Use small hand tools, power tools, and production equipment safely and effectively
- Work regularly with microscopes (up to 10x) for detailed assembly and soldering tasks
- Accurately document work, inspections, and labor tracking using a PC-based system
- Participate in internal training, certifications, and quality initiatives as required
- Maintain a clean, organized, and ESD-compliant work area
- Support continuous improvement and other duties as assigned by manufacturing leadership
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical instructions
- Comfortable using a computer to access drawings, work instructions, and track hours
- Basic math skills related to measurements and tolerances
- Previous ESD training or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
Preferred Experience (Not Required)
- Soldering experience using fine-gauge wires under magnification
- Prior solder certification or demonstrated soldering proficiency
- In-process inspection or quality inspection experience
- Aerospace manufacturing or experience in a highly regulated industry (medical, defense, electronics, etc.)

Work Environment
This role is performed in a manufacturing environment using hand tools and specialized equipment. The noise level is generally quiet to moderate. Precision, focus, and attention to detail are essential.
