Encinitas Botanic Garden hosting a light event and they are in need of parking attendants and crossing guards.

• Have safety be #1 priority while working in the parking lots as there are moving cars and people
• Be a self-starter and take initiative when needed
• Be friendly to staff members and guests and work in a team environment
• Be an effective communicator to staff and guests
• Be comfortable with using a walkie-talkie

Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they enter gardens
- Direct guests to available parking spaces and assist with parking if necessary
- Monitor the parking area to ensure compliance with parking regulations and address any violations
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, providing directions, and assisting with any issues or concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized parking facility
- Ensure pedestrian pathways are safe for crossing

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• Evening shift
• Holidays
• Monday to Friday
• On call
• Weekends as needed
