Job Title: MJF Media Operator
Department: MJF
Reports To: MJF Post-Process Lead
Position Type: ☒ Full-Time ☐ Part-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
Hours Per Week: 40+

Summary:

The MJF Media Operator is responsible for media blasting parts in accordance with job sheet requirements and/or supplied drawings. This role ensures parts are cleaned and finished to meet high quality standards, with all powder fully removed, in alignment with Finishing Department expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the MJF Post-Process Lead and Finishing Department
• Follow detailed work instructions outlined on job sheets
• Verify part features by comparing physical parts to drawings and job sheets
• Perform visual inspections of parts to identify any defects
• Monitor and maintain equipment performance and media levels
• Change out media as required by internal specifications
• Reject parts that do not meet quality or customer standards
• Notify the Post-Process Lead of any questionable or nonconforming parts
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Support a positive team culture and work environment
• Assist with other stages of production as needed
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned

Education & Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred
• Ability to follow and interpret detailed job instructions
• Strong hand coordination and attention to detail
• Solid problem-solving and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Comfortable multitasking and working with minimal supervision

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

 

• 8 hour shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• No weekends
• Overtime
